What is MyImpact Challenge?

MyImpact Challenge is a civic engagement contest hosted by the Bill of Rights Institute. Submission is open to US citizens and US-based young people who are between the ages of 13 and 19 and enrolled in middle or high school on January 1, 2024.

Submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

   

• Student Grand Prize: $10,000

• Student First Prize: $7,500

• Student Second Prize: $5,000

• Student Third Prize: $2,500

• Student Honorable Mention: $1,500

• Teacher Grand Prize: $500

• Teacher Support Prize: $500

• Teacher Submission Prizes: $500

Submission is open to students in all U.S. states, territories, and Armed Forces Schools Abroad.

 ARIZONA MYIMPACT CHALLENGE

• Win $500 - $1500 For Your ARIZONA Service Project! Attend the Conference & WIN prizes!

• All Arizona-based entries will be invited to exhibit their projects in-person on April 24, 2024!

• The contest is open to Arizona students between the ages of 13 and 19 who are involved in a community service project.

• Deadline: Must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on Monday, March 31, 2024.

 MISSOURI MYIMPACT CHALLENGE

• Win up to $5,000 For Your MISSOURI Service Project! Attend the Conference & WIN prizes!

• All Missouri-based entries will be invited to exhibit their projects in-person on May 3, 2024!

• Open to Missouri-based young people who are between the ages of 13 and 19.

• Deadline: Must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on Monday, March 31, 2024.

 UTAH MYIMPACT CHALLENGE

• Win $500 - $2,000 For Your UTAH Service Project! Attend the Conference & WIN prizes!

• All Utah-based entries will be invited to exhibit their projects in-person on June 14, 2024!

• Open to Utah-based young people who are between the ages of 13 and 19.

• Deadline: Must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Why Should Students Participate in MyImpact Challenge?

To gain national recognition for their civic achievements!

 

Through this contest, students will:

  • Learn how their community service and civic engagements project carry out the vision of the Founders and align to constitutional principles
  • Share how projects they have designed and executed are evidence of community impact and change
