Jessica Lee

Part of the My Impact Challenge special award-winning team, Jessica Lee is a sophomore at Mountain Lakes High School in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. Jessica has a wide range of interests with her favorite classes being English and biology, and her extracurricular activities including of chess and Girl Up. However, her admiration of Marie Curie, the only woman to win the Nobel Prize twice and for two scientific endeavors, represents the converging of many of these interests.

Despite her interest in Marie Curie, Jessica notes that her greatest influence is her family, especially her parents, aunts, and grandparents. The latter were part of the inspiration behind her team’s project which sought to help the elderly amidst the pandemic.
