Although her biggest inspiration is her mother, and she completed her first questionnaire by saying she wanted to be a stay-at-home Mom or a teacher, Christiana Forbush chose the latter option. She also knew she wanted to be a teacher when she was in kindergarten.
Christiana received a Bachelor of Science in History Teaching, a Master of Arts in American History and Government, and a Master of Education Learning and Technology. She is a 15-year veteran of the teaching profession and she currently teaches U.S. History and AP U.S. History at Brighton High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Christiana was also awarded a James Madison Fellowship in 2018 and said, “when I get emails from former students telling me how I changed their life, I am extremely proud.”
She added that she appreciates the Bill of Rights Institute’s focus on the U.S. Constitution.
“I love using their resources to examine court cases and Constitutional issues,” Christiana said. “I also love their trainings, because everyone who attends wants to learn and discuss.”
