The BRI mobile app relies on educators to create one of the following types of student-facing items.
Sections – A section is an individual class period. You can have multiple sections with the same assignments.
Courses - A course is a collection of assignments. They can be used to create sections if you have multiple groups of students working through the same material.
Assignments – Assignments are individual student activities. They can be grouped together to create a course.

- How do I share assignments with my students?
- Assignments can be shared with students through unique URL’s and QR codes. Educators can also include URL’s in existing LMS products. Find out more in our How To Guide
- Do my students have to create student accounts to use the app?
- No! Student accounts are not required. However, students who use the app from a logged-in state will be able to submit self-check responses and usage data will be stored for educators to see
- How do students create accounts?
- To create an account, a student needs to download the app from the Apple Ap Store or the Google Play store and create a student account. Student accounts require parental verification before they are created.
- What are self-checks?
- Self-checks are questions that the BRI team has created to accompany assignments. They can be added to assignments to check student understanding of the material presented. Find out how to add self-checks to your assignments in our How to Guide
- Can I add external links to my courses?
