2015 Constitutional Academy

The Bill of Rights Institute hosted 45 high school students for a week in Washington, D.C. Check out the highlights of their experiences before, during, and after the Academy!

0:30 to really cement the knowledge that I learned in my Civics course I was blessed to get accepted and then also get a scholarship we went to Capitol Hill uh which was definitely a cool experience it’s like the heart of government we went to the District of Columbia courts and actually got to work with a federal judge in like a mock trial type

0:51 situation and uh we went to the museum to learn about uh freedom of the press it’s imperative that you have an understanding of where why you’re an American what does it mean to be an American constitutional Academy gives you those key tenants incentivizes you into discussion about these key ideals that we learn and talk about but
