Lindsay Moran

Lindsay Moran joined BRI in April 2026. She is a former CIA operations officer turned strategic communications leader with deep experience shaping narratives, building brands, and translating complex issues for broad audiences.
Following her career in intelligence, Lindsay transitioned into media as a nationally recognized expert on intelligence and national security, and later to the nonprofit sector, where she has led communications functions for organizations focused on policy, advocacy, and global impact. She has built communications strategies from the ground up and specialized in making complicated topics accessible, compelling, and actionable.
Lindsay was drawn to the Bill of Rights Institute because of its commitment to civic education, intellectual rigor, and fostering thoughtful dialogue. She believes deeply in the power of ideas and in equipping people with the knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary to engage meaningfully in a free society.
She earned a BA in English and American Literature from Harvard College and an MFA in writing from Columbia University.
