Senior Manager Student Programs
Kate joined the Bill of Rights Institute in March 2026, bringing with her more than 13 years of experience designing and scaling programs across school, non-profit, corporate, and government settings. She began her career as a history and civics teacher before transitioning to project and team management across diverse settings. Prior to BRI, she served as a Training Specialist with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, where she spearheaded organizational health and workplace civility initiatives. She specializes in instructional design, performance coaching, and organizational development.
Kate is passionate about American history and civics education and is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders to make a difference in their communities. She was drawn to BRI for its commitment to civil discourse, emphasis on critical thinking, and mission to develop students into model citizens who embody the core virtues upon which the American Experiment depends. In her role, Kate supports the operational and strategic execution of BRI’s Student Programs, bringing her project management expertise and leadership experience to bear in integrating skills and values across the Institute.
Kate lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, three children, and one very patient senior dog.
