What is the Civics Innovation Lab?
<p>The Bill of Rights Institute Civics Innovation Lab is creating research-backed and technology-enabled tools to increase teacher support and improve student achievement.</p>
<p>Leveraging BRI’s deep expertise and philanthropic and programmatic partnerships, the Civics Innovation Lab will expand access to quality civic education with the goals of enhancing civic literacy, expanding citizen participation, and strengthening America’s democratic institutions.</p>
What Sets BRI Resources Apart?

The lab is the natural evolution of that approach that will allow another level of focus and scale to meet the needs of the classroom, respond to market opportunities, and position the Institute to transform civic learning and engagement. </p>

All Institute curricula are independently published, yet robust and free.
Educator Tools
Designed to pair with the Institute's curricula, these innovative tools make it easy for educators to customize their students’ experiences.
Standards Aligned
As a national organization, the Institute resources are standards informed, not aligned. However, where possible, resources that meet state standards are showcased.
Educator eLearning
Offering over 10 asynchronous courses, the Institute aims to equip educators with the knowledge and skills they need to empower their students.
