Civics for Everyone
The Bill of Rights Institute has always believed that all students should have access to a high-quality civic education. This is why BRI offers its classroom resources free of charge, and works continually to improve the accessibility of its resources and to increase the number of students the Institute can serve.
The Civics for Everyone initiative is supported by a coalition of dedicated partners, including leading technology companies, individuals, corporations, foundations, educational organizations, and disability advocacy groups. Together, we are committed to the ongoing work of helping all students, regardless of their circumstances, learn about our nation’s story, our government, and their rights and responsibilities as citizens.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) photo-based app proudly supports the Civics for Everyone initiative. Designed to give a voice to those with speech and communication difficulties, APP2Speak provides user-friendly features, customizable options, and multilingual support. This ensures that everyone, regardless of their abilities or language proficiency, can participate in civic education and beyond. APP2Speak AAC promotes independence, enhances accessibility, and fosters a sense of community, empowering individuals to express themselves and engage fully in conversations.
