BRI Scholarship Recipient Vlogs His NCSS Experience

Recently, the Bill of Rights Institute published multiple blog posts written by recipients of our Gary Colletti Conference Scholarship about their experience at last month’s National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) conference in Boston.

Leonard Ornstein, a social studies teacher at Shadow Ridge High School in Surprise, Ariz., and scholarship recipient, took it a step further and published a “vlog” (or video blog) detailing his NCSS experience. He also discussed the BRI materials he uses in his classroom, including our Documents of Freedom curriculum and BRI’s many videos on U.S. Supreme Court cases.
