The Bill of Rights Institute’s ability to impact our nation’s civic knowledge and engagement is made possible by the generosity of donors like you. There are several ways to support the Institute. You can give online, make an in-kind donation or planned gift, or give appreciated stock.

Is my donation to the Bill of Rights Institute tax deductible

Yes, the Bill of Rights Institute is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Because of that, your contribution is tax deductible. BRI’s tax identification number (EIN) is 48-0891418 

What does my donation fund? 

Your investment helps students across the country develop an appreciation for our Founding principles. We achieve this through direct student programs, investing in teacher development, and by producing historically-accurate resources that are rooted in primary source documents. 

What is your refund policy? 

If you have made an error with your gift or have changed your mind about your contribution to the Bill of Rights Institute, we will honor your request for a refund within 30 days of your donation. To request a refund, please contact Thomas Johnson at 703.894.1776 or email supportbri@mybri.org. Refunds are processed by the same way that the gift was made.
