Jordyn Linson, a junior at Cypress Springs High School in Cypress, Texas, is another member of the five-person, honorable mention-winning team. Her favorite subjects are English and history, and outside of the classroom, Jordyn is actively involved in a variety of sports including volleyball, basketball, and dance.
A historical figure Jordyn would follow if he were still living today is “Martin Luther King Jr. because he stood for what he believed in and was determined to make a difference, supporting others and standing for the cause.” When discussing her motivation for joining the P150 Youth Ministry team, it is clear that Jordyn tried to echo this mentality in their service project.
Her plans for the future are to attend college for business management in order to prepare her for her desired career as a realtor and interior decorator.
