by Bill of Rights Institute on

Talented middle schoolers from all across America will be testing their civic knowledge in our nation’s capital.

And tuning in for the competition could not be easier.

Organized by The Civic Trust of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the 2024 National Civics Bee National Championship is being held November 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET.

You can register to attend the event either in-person in Washington, D.C. or you can stream it online.

The National Civics Bee is an annual nonpartisan civics competition for middle schoolers that increases civics knowledge, skills, and disposition among young Americans, their families, and communities. This year, student finalists from 27 different states will be competing for a host of prizes.

The Bill of Rights Institute was proud to work alongside the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to produce study guides, contest materials, and supporting content for the National Civics Bee. Bill of Rights Institute President and CEO David Bobb is also serving as master of ceremonies for the group competition on November 11.

In addition to funding from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the National Civics Bee is made possible by generous support from Founding Partner, The Daniels Fund, as well as The Anschutz Foundation, Wilson Garling Foundation, Citizen Travelers, Welcome.US, and Starbucks.
