Students can begin submitting applications next month for the 2024-25 MyImpact Challenge from the Bill of Rights Institute. But did you know MyImpact Challenge is available as a resource to you all year round?

BRI’s MyImpact Challenge curriculum helps students hone their citizenship skills by providing a robust understanding of the role of the citizen in civil society and exploring the pillars of citizenship—entrepreneurship, charity, and government.

The curriculum offers six lessons that examine different topics, including defining citizenship and the roles of entrepreneurship, charity, and government in local communities. The curriculum also includes videos to help students create their MyImpact Challenge project.

The original background essays, guided resources, and rubrics in the curriculum help students craft a research report on the impacts of the aforementioned topics. Students can then develop and implement a project that exemplifies everyday citizenship, civic engagement, and constitutional principles.

Students can begin applying for this year’s MyImpact Challenge on Wednesday, Sept. 11. They can develop their projects during the 2024-25 school year, and the contest ends on May 18, 2025.
