There are approximately 5 million homeschooled students in the United States.

And as another school year begins, the Bill of Rights Institute wants to ensure that those students and their parents are always supported with the civics and history resources they need.

Chris Janson, BRI’s manager of outreach and communications, recently provided a tour of BRI’s free curricula and resources to the readers of The Old Schoolhouse, a leading publication for homeschool families.

The BRI website alone has more than 4,000 educational resources, and these resources are always offered free of charge.

BRI’s professional development programs make it easy for parents to learn from home, too. For example, BRI offers online professional development through its Teacher Badging program that can be completed anytime, from anywhere.
