BRI Takes to the Airwaves for Our American Stories
For the past 25 years, the Bill of Rights Institute worked to deliver high-quality, reliable content for America’s civics and history teachers and students.
Now, Americans everywhere have the opportunity to listen to BRI content over the airwaves, thanks to our ongoing work with Our American Stories.
Our American Stories is a nationally-syndicated radio program, also available on major podcast platforms, that tells extraordinary stories throughout American history.
BRI is hard at work creating segments for the program, based on our best-in-class content, that can be enjoyed by listeners nationwide.
BRI’s Senior Director of Content Kirk Higgins narrates stories on essential events in our nation’s history, including the courageous, harrowing journey of the Freedom Riders, the untold story of Charles Lindbergh, and the bravery of Col. Robert Gould Shaw and the solders of the 54th Massachusetts regiment during the Civil War.
These episodes are available on iHeart Radio, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and on the Our American Stories website. Or check your local radio stations for listings.
