Rachel Wildavsky is the Director of Development Strategy and Major Gifts at the Bill of Rights Institute. In this capacity, she communicates with the foundation sector about BRI’s mission and projects, assesses foundations’ interests and needs, and seeks partnerships that advance BRI’s work. She is familiar with both sides of the giving relationship from her experience in the nonprofit sector, which includes work for foundations and for numerous education nonprofits. She has consulted extensively for a wide range of corporate clients. Wildavsky worked as a journalist in Washington, D.C. for almost 20 years, including staff positions at The New York Post and at Reader’s Digest. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Chicago.
