Constitutional Academy

The Constitutional Academy is a program of the Bill of Rights Institute, an educational non-profit organization based in Arlington, Virginia, whose mission is to educate young people about the words and ideas of America’s Founders, the liberties guaranteed in our Founding documents, and how our Founding principles continue to affect and shape a free society.

Are you interested in government, history, or economics? Are you involved in leadership roles and extra-curricular activities, do you like debate and discussion and do you want to develop your political philosophy? The Constitutional Academy is the perfect summer program for you!

Attendees will spend a week in Washington, D.C. hearing lectures about constitutional principles from renowned scholars; participating in discussions and activities to apply the Constitution to current events (i.e. Guantanamo Bay, the NSA, Ferguson, etc.); touring the National Mall and other D.C. museums;  and learning about the college and career opportunities for students like yourself. Past attendees have called it a life-changing experience!

If this description sounds like you, and you are currently a sophomore, junior, or senior in high school, you are the perfect candidate for the Constitutional Academy.
