Looking for teacher-written resources to help engage your students with the First Amendment, landmark Supreme Court cases, and freedom of religion in their lives? Join the Bill of Rights Institute for a free one-day workshop which will provide you with easy-to-implement resources to bring the First Amendment alive.
This workshop is for U.S. History, Government, Civics and other Social Studies teachers and will help meet numerous Florida state standards. This program will be held at the The seminar begins at 7:30 A.M. with registration and breakfast, and concludes at 2:30 P.M.

Program Details for Participants:
- Program Location: Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, located at
1300 N. Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132. 02210. The program will take place in the Knight Concert Hall building, in the Peacock Education Center on the main level.
- Parking, driving directions, and information on public transportation can be found here. *Please note that participants are eligible to receive a special rate of $5 per vehicle when parking in the Arsht Center self parking Lot F. Should you wish to utilize the Arsht Center parking facilities, please ensure you park in Lot F, only. Please see the linked parking map for further directions.
- Directions: Participants parking in lot F should make an immediate left out of the lot, and then a quick right onto Biscayne Blvd, to reach the Knight Concert Hall. Please use the entrance furthest to the right. Once inside the Knight Concert Hall, the Peacock Education Center will be past the Lobby, and last room on the right.
- Breakfast and Registration begin at 7:30am, with the program sessions starting promptly at 8:00am. A complete agenda for the day is available here.
This Bill of Rights Institute Constitutional Workshop will help teachers address one or more of the Common Core Standards shown here.
