Voting Has Ended
The Internet opened up to the public in the early 90s, and hasn’t stopped since. The internet has given us Facebook, Twitter, and overnight sensations via YouTube. It has also given us the most recent battle over net neutrality and whether the government should regulate the internet. Proponents believe net neutrality will rein in the internet companies, forcing them to charge and treat all websites equally. Opponents believe that net neutrality will lead to a lagging internet, interrupting your Netflix shows or your Call of Duty game, making everything worse. Should internet companies be allowed to charge more money to Netflix for using more bandwidth or should all websites be charged the same? What are your thoughts?
